Your role

Your tasks as a software quality manager:

• Elaboration of test strategies for our software projects
• Implementation of the strategies together with our developer team
• Creation, implementation and support of automatic and manual software tests throughout the development cycle
• Assisting in the technical specification of customer requirements to ensure clear goals and testability
• Quality assurance not only with regard to software errors, but also with a focus on (implicit) customer requests and the fulfillment of expectations
• Participation in the ongoing improvement of our quality assurance processes
• Regular knowledge update about new workflows in the quality assurance environment (technologies, tools, best practices, etc.)

Requirements

• You have relevant project experience in quality management OR you have a degree from a university or technical college with a focus on computer science, software engineering or comparable training
• You have programming experience / scripting experience. The development of automatic software tests is a large part of the scope of work
• It would be desirable if you have knowledge of common tools in the field of continuous integration, e.g. GitlabCI, Azure DevOps Pipelines, …
• You have a basic understanding of good user interface design and usability
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Appropriate training and further education, such as ISTQB certification, is an advantage
